Hello friends! I can’t believe it’s already September - can you? I am ready for a break from the heat, and am gearing up for all things cozy. I can’t wait for Fall!
This month, I wanted to create an illustration that captured the transitional time in nature from summer to fall - the leaves are starting to fade, and the colors change. I hope you enjoy this wallpaper, and have a wonderful month ahead.

For this month's illustration, I wanted to capture that between-season feeling. We're not really in Summer, and we're not really in Fall quite yet. It feels like we're between seasons in our lives right now too, and I think many can relate to that. We're waiting to exhale on so many aspects of life right now, but I'm confident that if we put one foot in front of the other, and keep moving forward with good intentions and open hearts, we will get to a better outcome for all. :) I also wanted to include mushrooms and butterflies in this month's wallpaper because we have so many in our yard right now!

Happy September, I hope you are having a wonderful holiday weekend! While I still have dreams of a barkyard pool + margaritas forever, I'm also excited about chillier weather, sweaters, and decorating our house for Halloween. I asked Daniel if September 1st was too early for cobwebs on the bushes and he said yes (dang it!). A girl can dream. (and buy Halloween candy early - bad idea?)

Happy September! (How are we already in September?!) It's been a whirlwind of a summer, and I am looking forward to cooler temperatures, the Ghost Tour I'm going on in October (!!!), Stranger Things Season 2, and sporting my extensive scarf collection.
