          Maybe it is because I have experienced so much art theft over the years, but I have learned to keep integrity at the heart of my process. I want to lay my head down and be at peace with what I've made, knowing that it came from a place that was truly mine. Gut checks are vulnerable but powerful. Even if we've made mistakes in the past, the ability to make different choices in the present is always within our control.


          This took several years to learn, and a lot of discipline. But I encourage everyone to approach money with a sense of curiosity and possibility. I encourage everyone to invite money in and think of it as a friend: the more you interface with it (even when it's hard!), the deeper your connection is, and the more understanding you gain. Being intimately familiar with my numbers, and the ebb and flow of cashflow in my business has been one of my most valuable assets.

Happy January, and Happy New Year! I hope this year gives you the space to find - or continue to work on - what makes you happy and brings you joy! The last few years have been difficult for so many people, let's commit to treating one another with a little more kindness and gentleness in the coming months. The world is what we make of it ;) Let's make it a better place for everyone.

Happy October! It's my favorite time of year, and today is the day our household decorates for my favorite holiday: Halloween!! I can't wait to put up all of our spooky decorations and buy Halloween Candy (before I eat it all and then have to go buy more Halloween Candy to hand out lol) I love all of the dusky, jewel tones of autumn, so I hope you enjoy this desktop wallpaper! :)

Happy August! I am doing something a little different this month. These past few weeks have been packed for my schedule, and I am unexpectedly going to be away from my desk on the 1st for family reasons. So, I am re-issuing one of our most popular August illustrations for this month. I know some of you who have been receiving these for awhile might be disappointed to get one you already have enjoyed (it's from 2018 though, so *quite* a while back - rest assured I updated the dates for 2022), but I am hoping you will all understand that my family needs to come first this month ;) It's been a pleasure to share these monthly wallpapers with you since 2017 (5 years!) without a repeat, so I hope you will still enjoy this month's wallpaper, and in September we will be back with some fresh toasty content :)
